Nicole Krauss is the author of the novels Man Walks Into a Room and The History of Love, which won France’s Prix du Meilleur Livre Etranger, and was short-listed for the Orange, Medicis, and Femina prizes. Her fiction has been published in The New Yorker, Harper’s, Esquire, and Best American Short Stories, and in 2007 she was selected as one of Granta’s Best Young American Novelists. She was born in New York City in 1974, and now lives in Brooklyn. Her books have been translated into more that thirty languages.
