Math Placement and Calculus Readiness Tests (MPT & CRT)
Before students can enroll in college-level math at UTA, they must take and pass the appropriate math placement test(s). The tests are given during the New Maverick Orientation summer programs or in the Math Department in 478 Pickard Hall.
Students who have transfer credit for a college-level math course should speak with an advisor in the Math Department (817-272-3261) to determine whether they are exempt from the placement tests.
