The Rape Aggression Defense System is a program of realistic self-defense tactics and techniques developed for women. The R.A.D. System is a comprehensive, women-only course that begins with awareness, prevention, risk reduction, and risk avoidance, while progressing on to the basics of hands-on self-defense training.

The Relationship Violence & Sexual Assault Prevention (RVSP) Program at UT Arlington seeks to promote education and awareness of sexual assaults, relationship violence, and stalking on campus through prevention and intervention efforts. The RVSP Program also provides confidential support, referral services, and advocacy for students that have been victimized by sexual assault and/or relationship violence.
