SAT I : Reasoning Test

The SAT Reasoning Test is a 3 and 1/2 hour test that includes 10 multiple-choice sections and one 25 minute essay. The SAT measures writing, critical reading and mathematic abilities that develop over time. Many colleges require SAT scores for admission. The fee for this test is $45.00. There are additional fees for late registration, standby, or test center or date changes.

Sat II: Subject Tests

The SAT subject tests are one-hour, primarily multiple choice tests that measure your knowledge of particular subjects and your ability to apply that knowledge. Please check out the SAT II Registration bulletin to know more about the SAT subject tests and the test dates.

If you are a high school student who has registered for an SAT Program test before, you can reregister by telephone. Please see a registration bulletin or the web site for more information.

Register by Mail:

A SAT I or SAT II Registration bulletin may be obtained at the Testing Services office, Davis Hall, Suite 201 or ordered for free at www.collegeboard.com. Send the completed application form in the envelope provided in the Registration bulletin. Mail registration must be postmarked by the deadline date.

Institutional SAT

An institutional version of the SAT I: Reasoning Test is an emergency test offered at UTA for students wishing to be admitted to UTA and have no prior SAT or ACT test score. The test is scored at UTA and is only valid for UTA admission. No scores will be reported to the College Board or secondary schools. The fee for this test is $55. Please call Testing Services at 817-272-2362 or visit our office located at Davis Hall, Suite 201 for more information. There are no retakes.

A test application form may be obtained in the Testing Services Office, Davis Hall, Suite 201. You must fill out the form, pay the fee at the Bursar (Davis Hall, 1st floor), and return the completed form to UTA Testing Services. Because there is a limited capacity for each test date, students are encouraged to register for the test as soon as possible.
