SHOW YOUR MAVERICK PRIDE AND WIN $250!
Big things are happening in Arlington! The latest is the February 1 opening of the University of Texas at Arlington's College Park Center, a 7,000 seat events arena in the heart of Arlington. This is just one of a zillion examples of how UT Arlington is all grown up, now with over 33,000 students and well over 100,000 alumni who live right here in the Metroplex.
That's a lot of UT Arlington pride! In fact, Arlington Mayor Robert Cluck and the City of Arlington have declared February 1, 2012 UT ARLINGTON DAY.
But you don't have to be an alumnus to feel pride in your hometown University. Want to celebrate UT Arlington Day? Want to show off your spirit? Want to win $250? Then enter the Show Your Maverick Pride photo contest!
All you have to do is dress yourself, your neighbors, your kids, your pets, your house, your place of business, your car, or anything else in your best blue, orange and white Maverick gear, take a picture, then email us the photo. Three winners will be chosen and will receive $250 each!
