Driving Directions

From I-30 westbound

Exit I-30 at Cooper Street (Exit 27). Loop around on the exit to join Lamar eastbound and stay in the right-hand lane. Turn right (south) onto Cooper St. at the traffic signal at the Cooper/Lamar intersection. Continue south on Cooper St. until you reach UT Arlington.

From I-30 eastbound

Exit I-30 at Cooper Street (Exit 27). Turn right (south) onto Cooper St. at the traffic signal at the end of the off-ramp. Travel South on Cooper St. approximately 2.5 miles to UT Arlington.

From I-20 westbound or eastbound

Exit I-20 at Cooper Street north (Exit 449A). Travel north on Cooper St. approximately 4 miles to UT Arlington.

Travel and Accommodations

Parking

Complimentary parking for all commencement ceremonies is available in all lots adjacent to Texas Hall, plus Parking Lots 30 and 33.

Shuttles

Complimentary shuttle service to Texas Hall from Parking Lots 30 and 33 will be available throughout commencement weekend. Please plan for a 10-15 minute wait between shuttles.

Passenger Drop Off

Guests who require additional time to get to Texas Hall – including guests with physical handicap, elderly, or parents with strollers – may be dropped off in the vehicle turnaround on the north side of Texas Hall. No parking permitted in the turnaround.

Special Needs

Two large video screens on the stage will provide an unobstructed and close-up view of the ceremony. Designated handicapped seating for graduates is available in Texas Hall upon request. Sign language will be provided during every School and College commencement ceremony. Students and their family, friends and guests who require additional accommodation should contact the Texas Hall event office at 817-272-3331.
