- Graduates should arrive at 6:00 p.m. at the West One side doors to Texas Hall
- Guests are encouraged to arrive at the East Side entrance one hour early
- Live music begins in Texas Hall at 6:00 p.m.

Pinning Ceremony (May Commencement Only)
Graduation candidates of the School of Nursing show appreciation to their peers and families by hosting pinning ceremonies. The ceremonies begin with student and faculty keynote speakers, then graduating students are "pinned" by a special friend or family member. A multi-media presentation features family and friends reminiscing and paying tribute to their graduates, and then the students express their gratitude for the support they received.
