Some parking lots to close during Spring Break, March 14-20UT Arlington Facilities Management leaders are in the process of adding additional parking lot capacity to better serve the University community. The effort includes the expansion of some lots, new lot construction, and repainting of others to maximize efficiency. Please note that the following lots will be closed March 14-20 for upgrades. Cars left unattended may be towed.
Parking lots are noted on the general campus map available online at www.uta.edu/maps/. Major construction of the Special Events Center and other projects on the east side of campus will not begin in earnest until the spring semester ends to minimize the impact on the campus community. These changes will result in a net gain of approximately 380 student spaces this spring. More information about parking changes will be announced as projects come on line. Shuttle Service Free shuttle service is available on campus 7:30 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. Monday through Friday with shuttles running about every 15 minutes. Ample parking is available in the Maverick Stadium remote lot, 1301 W. Mitchell St., and in the lots off South Cooper Street. Covered shuttle stops are available in those lots and at various points across campus. Visit the UT Arlington Police Department website for more information about routes, times, and stops. |
