UT Arlington will remain closed Wednesday, February 2

The University of Texas at Arlington and the UT Arlington Fort Worth Center will remain closed Wednesday, February 2, 2011, due to winter weather and icy road conditions.

All classes and campus events scheduled for Wednesday are canceled. However, the UT Arlington women’s basketball game vs. UT San Antonio will be played at 7 p.m. at Texas Hall, as scheduled.

University Center dining facilities, including the Connection Café, will remain open to serve campus residents.

Regular University activities will resume Thursday unless otherwise notified.

Please continue to monitor University e-mail and the UT Arlington website, www.uta.edu, for the latest information. Notices also will be distributed to area media outlets and distributed through Facebook and Twitter.

Additionally, the University's Emergency Information Hotline at 1-866-258-4913 always has the current status of all operations.
