UT Arlington to resume partial operations Sunday, December 8, and will reopen on Monday, December 9

The University of Texas at Arlington will resume partial operations on Sunday, December 8, 2013.

The Central Library, Architecture and Fine Arts Library, Science and Engineering Library, and University Center will open at 3 p.m.—with the Central Library and University Center beginning 24-hour operations for exam week.

The Connection Café in the E.H. Hereford University Center resumes a normal schedule on Sunday. The Maverick Activities Center will remain closed.

All other offices, events, activities, exams, and classes remain closed and will resume business on normal schedules on Monday, December 9.

Please exercise caution, as some side streets, parking lots, and sidewalks on campus continue to be icy.

Additional communications will be forthcoming only as changing weather conditions may mandate. Otherwise, all operations and schedules will be considered to be on normal schedules on Monday.

Please continue to monitor University email and the UT Arlington home page, www.uta.edu, for the latest information. Notices also will be distributed to area media outlets and through the official UT Arlington Facebook and Twitter feeds.

Additionally, the University's Emergency Information Hotline at 1-866-258-4913 always has the current status of all operations.
