UT Arlington open on normal schedules Tuesday, December 10

The University of Texas at Arlington will be open Tuesday, December 10. The UT Arlington Research Institute in Fort Worth, the UT Arlington Fort Worth Center, and all other UT Arlington locations will open on normal schedules.

As announced Sunday, exams that were scheduled for Monday, December 9, have been rescheduled for Monday, December 16, at the same times and locations. The reporting of grades for classes with exams on December 16 will be due on Friday, December 20, by 10 a.m. This revised due date is only for classes with final exams scheduled on December 16. Grades for all other classes remain due on December 17.

Residence halls, libraries, the University Center, and dining facilities will remain open through Tuesday, December 17, to serve and accommodate students with exams on Monday, December 16.

As a result of some exams being rescheduled for Monday, December 16, the first day of the Winter Intersession will be delayed by one day and will now begin on Tuesday, December 17, to ensure classroom availability. Instructors will work with their individual classes to identify ways to make up for the lost day of class for the intersession.

Commencement ceremonies will be held December 13-15, as scheduled. All students who are registered to participate in Commencement ceremonies will be allowed to participate, even if they will still be taking exams on Monday, December 16.

Please exercise caution as some side streets, parking lots, and sidewalks on campus continue to be icy. Additionally, when walking on campus, avoid areas that are blocked off.
