University Monitoring the Winter StormThe National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for the North Texas region. The cold front has the potential to bring freezing rain, sleet, and snow beginning Wednesday morning, February 9. The University is closely monitoring the forecast and will notify all students, faculty, and staff tomorrow morning, February 9, as early as possible, should local conditions deteriorate and affect the status of any University classes, programs, events, and activities. As with any weather event, please monitor your University e-mail and the main UT Arlington website for the latest information. Additionally, notices will be posted on the University's home page, distributed to local media outlets, and posted on Facebook and Twitter. Also, the University's Emergency Information Hotline at 1-866-258-4913 always has the current status of all operations. Please note that communications will be forthcoming only as changing weather conditions may mandate.
