Biography

Bridget Lewis joined UT Arlington after more than 15 years as a news producer for television stations in Georgia, Oklahoma and Texas. As a journalist, her work also carried her to Washington, D.C., and earned her two Emmy Awards. In 1995, Bridget served as a researcher for KERA-TV (PBS) on the highly successful documentary, "Remember When," and she was recognized for her producing on a 2004 program hosted by former ABC News Anchor Peter Jennings. Bridget has been a ghost writer for one of the nation's most influential evangelicals and serves as a mentor to young people. She graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, with a bachelor's degree in journalism and is currently pursuing a master's degree in journalism. Bridget is a native of Dallas.
