ARLINGTON - UT Arlington Jazz Combo will warm up the holidays with some cool tunes at the Friends of the UT Arlington Library holiday program at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, on the sixth floor of the Central Library, 702 Planetarium Place.

"A Holiday Jazz Sampler" will include many holiday favorites performed with a cool jazz twist. Some of the songs the combo will play include "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus," "Santa Claus is Coming to Town," "Silent Night," "I'll Be Home for Christmas" and many more. 

The combo is comprised of UT Arlington students Ben Martin, bass; Sarah Biglow, drums; Jon Dobbins, piano; and Josh Ponce, trumpet. Ponce received one of this year's Dan Burkholder Endowed Memorial Scholarships.
