UT Arlington helps students prepare for SAT math test

ARLINGTON -
High school students preparing to take the SAT can receive a helping hand on math from The University of Texas at Arlington.

Classes are from 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays. Jan. 31, Feb. 7, Feb. 14, Feb. 28, March 7, March 28, April 4, April 18, April 25, May 9 and May 16.

Tarrant County students can attend at the UT Arlington Fort Worth Center, 1501 Jones St., Fort Worth. Dallas County students can go to Conrad High School, 7502 Fair Oaks Ave., Dallas.

The classes are free, and no pre-registration is needed.

Each class covers different material, and students may attend as many classes as they wish. Instructions are available for beginning, intermediate and advanced levels.

Students should bring a pencil and a graphing calculator if available. A limited number of graphing calculators are available. Also, they should bring snacks or money for snacks to purchase on campus.

Other sponsors for the Dallas classes are The University of Texas at Dallas, the University of North Texas-Dallas Campus and Midwestern State University.
