ARLINGTON - Dr. M. Frances Leach will offer participants all the tools they need to become effective business coaches or mentors at a workshop Wednesday, Feb. 18, at the UT Arlington Fort Worth Center.
A coaching and mentoring brown bag session will be held from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, at The University of Texas at Arlington's Fort Worth Center, 1401 Jones St. Cost is $25.
Dr. Leach has extensive experience in coaching and mentoring. As a manager for the federal government, she developed a cost-effective and successful mentoring and coaching program for a diverse population. Her professional experiences include working in continuing education as a manager, a college professor, an internal organization development and training manager.
The certificate program examines the principles of mentoring/coaching and assesses individual coaching/mentoring skills. It also emphasizes how important understanding the organizational culture is to developing skills as a mentor or coach.
Executives, managers, supervisors and anyone committed to professional growth can attend.
