ARLINGTON - Columnist Ed Wallace will be keynote speaker at the Communicators Lecture Series at The University of Texas at Arlington. The lectures are from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, in the Rio Grande Ballroom at the E. H. Hereford University Center, 300 W. First St.
Wallace, a Business Week columnist and host of "Wheels with Ed Wallace" on KLIF Radio, will discuss "Back to the Future of Communication" at 10 a.m. Prior to Wallace's lecture, Charla Markham Shaw, chairwoman of the Department of Communication, will deliver opening remarks at 9:30 a.m., followed by a speech by Donald Bobbitt, provost and vice president of academic affairs. After Wallace's lecture, there will be a series of panel discussions on communication topics, moderated by area communication professionals.
