Success U -- Your Maverick Journey Awaits
Registration is now open for Success U, a taste of real college life for incoming freshmen. Meet faculty, staff, and students who will give you an insiders guide to college success. This is an opportunity that you won't want to miss. Space is limited so register now. Success U will take place on August 20th and 21st, just prior to the start of classes.

Are you going to be new to campus this fall? Attend an orientation for new Mavericks. Orientation is required for all incoming freshmen, and is also required for some transfer students. Even if you are a transfer student who is not required to attend, we still recommend it! Come get oriented to everything.

Maverick Stampede (a.k.a. Welcome Week) is the official kick-off to the new academic year. This first week of classes is filled with fun and exciting programs centered on integrating new and returning students back to campus. Students are given the opportunity to participate in events throughout the week that will allow them to experience tradition, engage with their academic departments, meet other students, and overall become familiar with campus.

Do you live off campus, but need a way to get to school at UT Arlington? Do you live on campus and want to get out and explore attractions in Fort Worth, Dallas, and the rest of the Metroplex? The MAX gets you where you need to go! Buses make regular trips between the TRE CentrePort/DFW Airport Station and College Park Center at UT Arlington Monday through Friday from approximately 6:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. Fares for a bus and rail ride are $2.50 for students and $5 for everyone else.
