Welcome to the University Advising Center.
The University Advising Center (UAC) provides transitional support and assistance for all freshman and undeclared students. At the heart of the UAC is our team of experienced and professional advisors who are here to provide academic and career advising in a comfortable and cooperative setting.
Our students receive personal attention as they are guided through their first year. Our advisors assist students in creating a personalized plan to help them discover their interests, goals, and talents and to find an academic path that's right for them.
For students that have already declared a major, our advisors assist in helping these students successfully transition into their respective majors after the first year.

As you explore our site, make sure you also check out the events going on throughout the year. Our office is conveniently located on the first floor of Ransom Hall.

Currently enrolled freshmen and undeclared UT Arlington students who would like to speak with an advisor may schedule an appointment online or call 817-272-3140.
