The Pit Stop
The University Advising Center is committed to providing students a thorough and supportive professional advising experience. When a student visits an advisor, they can be sure that their advisor will give them the time that they need to ask questions and seek advice to help them achieve their goals. However, we know that sometimes you might just have a quick question that doesn't require a lengthy advising session. For these moments, we offer the Pit Stop, a quick help center in the lobby of Ransom Hall designed to get you on the right track.
When a race car makes a pit stop, the driver expects that they will be able to get in and out quickly. That is our goal as well. We want to provide you accurate, efficient answers to get you back on the track. The Pit Stop isn't for every advising need, but we are here to provide you support for situations like:
- Basic Advising Questions
- Post-Advising Schedule Changes
- Campus Referrals
- Removal of Post-Advising Holds
- TSI Questions
- MyMav Questions
The Pit Stop can be found in the lobby of Ransom Hall and will be open during peak advising times, such as registration periods. So stop by pit row and the let the UAC help you stay on track to success.
The Pit Stop is for current students only.
