KC Hall Academic Resource Center (ARC)
The ARC is located on the first floor of KC Hall, UT Arlington’s designated Living-Learning Center. Situated conveniently behind the classrooms, the ARC combines space for meeting with Peer Academic Leaders, and a comfortable environment for individual and small group tutoring. Equipment provided in the ARC includes seating, tables, and a dry erase board.
At the ARC, students will find a variety of services operated by the University College Learning Center and University College Programs. Students have the opportunity to register online through Tutor Trac for one-on-one tutoring and for use of Start Strong Freshman Tutoring Program hours. Peer Academic Leaders will be available on a drop-in basis for assistance with creating a time management plan, improving study skills, individual student mentoring, and general academic questions and referrals to campus resources. A schedule of drop-in tutor availability is updated throughout the semester at the ARC website and inside KC Hall to help with quick questions and to provide support on assignments. Drop-in services are offered free-of-charge for residents of KC Hall and students participating in a Residential or a Fusion FIG. Hour-long, one-on-one tutoring appointments will be subject to normal tutoring charges.
This website will be the official home of the ARC on the web. Check below for the full schedule of drop-in PAL and Tutor availability. While you're here, you'll also be able to find more information about the many programs and workshops offered throughout the semester by University College and Apartment and Residence Life. Student are also invited to provide their feedback throughout the semester about the services in the ARC so we might serve you better.
