About Me: I started at UTA in June of 2011, after having been previously employed at the International Center for Supplemental Instruction (SI) at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC), where I supervised both the SI and Tutorial programs, and conducted national Supervisor Training in my capacity as an internationally certified SI and Video-Based Supplemental Instruction (VSI) Trainer. Prior to my appointment at UMKC, I was Head of the SI National Office for Southern Africa, at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU) in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, and was formerly a lecturer in Sociology, at the University of Port Elizabeth (UPE). Born in the United Kingdom, I have varied international experience in higher education. I live with my husband and three children in Flower Mound, Texas, and enjoy reading and traveling, as well as spending time exploring the Metroplex with my family.

About Me: I grew up in Houston and went to high school in Fayetteville, Arkansas. In 1987, I moved to Arlington, and have been here ever since. My son (25 years old) and my daughter (23 years old) were born here, and I consider it my hometown. In 2005 I returned to college at UTA to finish the education I began years earlier, and I received my BA in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2009. While in school, I became a tutor for UTSI in 2006, and continued until the end of 2010. My love of travel and experiencing different cultures led to me living in Scotland for six months in 2001, and in Ireland for five months in 2011. I’ve spent two weeks each in Egypt and in Paris (the latter on a study abroad with the SUPA department in 2007). I have three cats and am about to adopt another one. I also feed several feral cats outside. My kids tell me that I’m fast becoming the crazy cat lady!

About Me: I started with UT Arlington in March 2007, working for the College of Nursing. In February 2008, I moved to basement of the UC working in Fraternity and Sorority Life, Student Activities, and The Leadership Center. In April of 2012, I left UTA and went to TCU for a brief stay. I was fortunate enough to come back to UTA in April 2015 where I now call UTSI home. I am blessed to have friends in many different departments across campus and throughout other universities. I was born and raised in Texas. I have an amazing daughter (15) and a wonderful son (14). When I am not busy with my kids I like catching a live Texas country band at one of my favorite outdoor venues or watching a Rangers’ game.
