Tutoring provides individualized tutoring to UT Arlington students for $6.50 per hour. The Student Services Fee Advisory Committee subsidizes the cost so that high-quality tutoring is available in a variety of courses for a minimal price.
Tutors are upperclassmen or graduate students who have been recommended by professors, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and received an A or B in the subject they tutor. They must complete at least 10 hours of training before working with students and attend additional training sessions each semester.
Students may schedule sessions with a tutor during the week or on weekends, depending upon the tutor's schedule and availability. All tutoring sessions are held on the 2nd floor of the Central Library.
