University Studies Advising
University Studies students must schedule advising appointments each semester. All advising appointments must be scheduled with our front reception by calling 817-272-0777. It is best for students to come in to see their advisor in person, especially when finalizing their degree plan for graduation. Students who live out-of-state or a great distance from UTA may schedule “phone advising” appointments by calling 817-272-0777, as well. Walk-ins (students without appointments who come to Ransom Hall) will be seen as quickly as possible, if there are advisors available. During peak advising times, however, most of the advisors are booked with scheduled appointments, so, it’s best to plan ahead.
Students will not be cleared to register unless they have spoken with an advisor and have had all coursework to be taken at UTA and/or at other universities or community colleges approved to be sure that all classes will fit the University Studies degree plan and residency requirements for UTA. Registration for the SPRING 2012 semester opens on October 24. Register early to get the best selection of coursework!
