Proposing a First Year Seminar
The purpose of this course is to engage first-year students in important intellectual topics while teaching them the academic and thinking skills necessary to be productive students. With our First Year Seminar (FYS) program at UT Arlington, we have the opportunity to transform the way our students relate to faculty, the university as a whole, and themselves as lifelong learners and professionals in their chosen careers.
