About Us

P16 Council

University Crossroads is a Recognized P16 Council of the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, a collaboration of over 90 community partners working to prepare students in Collin, Dallas, Denton and Tarrant counties for college and career success.

The council is an outreach, diversity, and community engagement initiative uniting schools, postsecondary educational institutions, families, businesses, faith-based groups, local, state, and federal agencies, and community organizations. This united effort is dedicated to advancing the education of all students and to closing the gaps in students' academic achievements at all education levels.

Our SAT Math Prep program has grown significantly. Math is an area you can really improve your scores with additional tutoring. Students who come to three of our sessions see their math scores rise 45 points, on average.

Our SAT Math Prep program has grown significantly. Math is an area you can really improve your scores with additional tutoring. Students who come to three of our sessions see their math scores rise 45 points, on average. Going to four sessions, their scores rise 60 points and with five sessions, they go up 80 points. That’s a significant increase.
