The American Society of Mass Spectrometry has named Saiful Chowdhury, UTA assistant professor of chemistry and biochemistry, as one of the leading emerging investigators worldwide for his work developing new techniques using mass spectrometry to differentiate protein modifications linked to cancer and aging.
U.S. Secretary of Energy Rick Perry is inaugural speaker at UTA’s “Responsible Shale Energy Extraction” Conference April 21-22 at Fair Park in Dallas, as part of Earth Day Texas. This free event is chaired by UTA’s Collaborative Laboratories for Environmental Analysis and Remediation or CLEAR lab.
Dr. Teik C. Lim, Dean of the College of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Cincinnati (UC), will be the next Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs of UTA. Lim will work in close partnership with the President to provide overall leadership for the campus.
