UT Arlington is located in the heart of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Major highways lead you to campus no matter which direction you’re traveling from.
The city of Arlington offers limited public transportation, but taxis are readily available for those arriving at DFW airport or Love Field. You may also rent a car through Enterprise or other companies.
If you are traveling from Dallas or Fort Worth, you may take the Trinity Railway Express to the TRE CentrePort/DFW Airport Station. From there, the Metro Arlington Xpress (MAX) bus service makes regular trips to the College Park District on the UT Arlington Campus.
The Center for African American Studies, the only one of its kind in North Texas, examines issues related to race and cultural diversity. It is a collaboration between the College of Liberal Arts and the School of Social Work.
