Alumna is named 2015 National Teacher of the Year

Alumna Shanna Peeples is the first Texas teacher to win the National Teacher of the Year award since 1957 and the first from UT Arlington. America’s oldest and most prestigious honor of its kind is given by the Council of Chief State School Officers

Assistant professor of Chinese honored with international distance learning award

The United States Distance Learning Association honored Szu-Yen Neal Liang, assistant professor of Chinese in the Department of Modern Languages, for his effort to promote the development and application of international distance education.
