“Both teaching and practicing law are about aiding and advancing people,” Distinguished Alumna Rayla Allison explained. “That is why I was involved in sports originally as a coach as a way to reach out and help people. I’ve found the variety of legal issues and people in sport that I have worked with makes me a better teacher and allows me to bring the real world application of knowledge into the classroom.”
