Freshman Callie Collins was named Southland Conference Pitcher of the Year and first-team all-conference. She posted an 18–10 record with a 1.72 earned-run average and 200 strikeouts in 36 appearances. Collins helped the softball team (33–25) finish second in regular-season SLC play.
