Wasson, Henry named to posts for student administration

Dale Wasson

UTA has named Dale Wasson as associate vice president of enrollment services and Fred Henry Jr. as assistant dean of students and director of Multicultural Services.

Dr. Wasson, a 20-year veteran of higher education enrollment management, has served as director of admissions at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Ga., and associate registrar and associate director of admissions at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Va.

He earned his bachelor's and master's degrees from Old Dominion and his Ed.D. from the University of Georgia.

Henry earned his bachelor's degree in social work from UTA and formerly served as the University's assistant director of transfer admissions.

He is a member of the Texas Association for College Admission Counselors, the North Texas College Consortium and the North Texas Regional Alumni Association of Phi Theta Kappa.
