Feature Stories

Behind the Music
As operations director, Don Fearing ('77 BS) oversees the lights, sound and all other physical engineering components of Fort Worth's Bass Performance Hall. From engagements of Phantom of the Opera and Romeo and Juliet on ice, to performances by Tony Bennett and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, he's never far from the action.

Man in the Middle
From modest beginnings officiating intramural games at UTA, Undrey Wash ('86 BBA) has advanced to the pinnacle of his profession. At age 39, he's the second youngest of 119 referees in the National Football League.

Happy Campers

Summer Youth Programs
Hundreds of young minds converge on the UTA campus each summer for an eclectic mix of academic, sports and music camps. Some find the learning environment so fascinating and fun that they enroll a few years later as full-time students.

Not Just for Kids
Teachers also benefit from UTA camps.
