UT Arlington’s new Guaranteed Tuition Plan allows students to lock in current tuition rates, avoid future tuition increases, and earn up to $2,000 off the cost of a four-year degree. No. 8 in the nation, according to a 2014 taxtalent.com survey. The program ranked ninth last year.

The Biology Department’s Amphibian and Reptile Diversity Research Center houses an internationally recognized collection of more than 130,000 specimens from 90 countries. The collection features the world’s largest holding of reptiles and amphibians from Guatemala.
