Courting Success

Students from UTA's Moot Court team

Students from the University's Moot Court team went up against teams from Belgium, Germany, Japan, and Romania at the 2016 Annual Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. UTA was the only undergraduate institution in the United States that qualified to participate in the prestigious competition, which included 311 teams of law students from nearly 200 countries. "By all accounts, they were indistinguishable from their law school counterparts," says Amber White, director of UTA's Pre-Law Center.
