Truman Black

A professor emeritus in the Physics Department, Truman Black died Sept. 12 in Arlington. He was 74. Dr. Black retired in 2011 after 45 years on the UT Arlington faculty. Alex Burton

Longtime radio and TV personality Alex Burton died Sept. 13 in Dallas. He was 80. A 1981 UT Arlington Distinguished Alumnus, Mr. Burton earned a bachelor’s degree in political science in 1967.
