He won by three strokes and collected the $3,300 first prize. A member of UT Arlington’s Southland Conference championship team last spring, he also won the Arkansas State Open earlier in 2011. Ahsan “Ali” Kahn (BA, Public Relations) was hired for an internship with Fleishman-Hillard, an international communication agency with 80 offices worldwide. He is training in Washington, D.C., and will work on the firm’s Best Buy account in preparation for a store opening in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
