O.J. Kemp

Kemp (’80 BA, Phys­i­cal Education/English) is ath­letic direc­tor for the Arling­ton Inde­pen­dent School Dis­trict. She is the first woman and first African-American in that post. Pre­vi­ously, she was an assis­tant ath­letic direc­tor, prin­ci­pal, assis­tant prin­ci­pal, and girls bas­ket­ball coach in the Arlington ISD.


Betsy Price

Price (’72 BS, Biol­ogy) was elected mayor of Fort Worth in June after serv­ing 10 years as Tar­rant County tax asses­sor. Before being elected to office, she owned Price Cor­nelius Title Service.


Raja Bala

Bala (’87 BS, Elec­tri­cal Engi­neer­ing) received his 75th patent in July. He is a prin­ci­pal sci­en­tist con­duct­ing research and devel­op­ment in dig­i­tal color imag­ing with Xerox Corp. in Web­ster, N.Y., work­ing there since 1993. His research and inven­tions have been incor­po­rated into sev­eral lead­ing Xerox color products.

Jose Alejandro

Ale­jan­dro (’98 BSN) was named a fel­low of the Amer­i­can Col­lege of Health­care Exec­u­tives. He is senior regional direc­tor of case man­age­ment for the east region of Kin­dred Healthcare.

Ana Cano Nennig

Nen­nig (’97 BA, Jour­nal­ism) is an exec­u­tive vice pres­i­dent and direc­tor of global brands for Euro RSCG World­wide PR, a pub­lic rela­tions firm in based in New York with offices in Chicago.
