Short Bio

 

Born in Zagreb, Croatia 1971. Got B.S. degree in EE from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb, in 1996 and M.S. degree (Control Engineering, advisor: Dr. Z. Vukic ) from the same university  in 1998. From 1997 to 2001 he was working with Brodarski institute (Marine Systems & Special Technologies) in Zagreb developing guidance & control systems for Underwater and surface vehicles and turbine governors for the hydropower plants. He joined ACSM group at ARRI (UTA), led by Dr. Frank Lewis, in august 2001. At present, he is doing his research in MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems) area.

MEMS design (focus: actuators) 

Mathematical modeling: thermal, mechanical, electrostatic/magnetic & fluid domains - dynamic models, reduced order modeling (ROM), Finite element Analysis (FEA) & Ordinary Differential Equations (ODE) simulations

Feedback Control & MEMS: Controllers for MEMS, Implementation issues, Optical/ Capacitive Sensing, Interface electronics

MEMS Fabrication: Support for above
