Alexandra Lindsay is a Research Scientist I in the Biomedical Technologies Division at The University of Texas at Arlington Research Institute (UTARI). She is focused on liquid polymer mold design, CAD modeling, computational simulation, and designing of preventative care biomedical devices.

She received her BS in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington in 2018. She had been working at UTARI since 2016 while she was also a full-time student, and joined as full-time research staff in December 2018. She has also previously led undergraduate research for a bioreactor project that was submitted and recognized at the Biomedical Engineering Society Conference in 2018, in which she had also held position as Vice President for the BMES student chapter at UTA for 2 years. Collaborations with University of North Texas Health Science Center and the UTA Art Department have also given her experience with analyzing biomechanics using 3D motion analysis software/hardware and video game design respectively.
