Julienne Greer of UTA Theatre Arts is featured in a recent Fort Worth Star-Telegram article regarding the IRP grant award for human-robotic interaction. This particular project is produced in collaboration with UTARI researchers Kris Doelling, Mike McNair and Jeongsik Shin and the UTA School of Social Work.

Dr. Lewis named AAAS Fellow
Dr. Lewis named AAAS Fellow

Dr. Frank Lewis of UTA and UTARI has been named a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. This conferment is added to several honors bestowed on Dr. Lewis, including being named a Fellow of the National Academy of Inventors and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.

Dr. Anand Puppala, UTA civil engineering professor along with UTARI researchers Mike McNair and Cody Lundberg will collaboratively work on an effort to use unmanned aerial vehicles to remotely inspect highways and railroads and develop guidelines for how to safely complete the task.

The City of Arlington’s monthly director’s meeting kicked off its “Put Technology to Work” series. Mike McNair, division head for UTARI’s AIS division was the guest speaker. His topic focused on the future of autonomous vehicles and their effect on government entities.
