I can’t remember my NetID password. What can I do?
If you have previously set up account management questions, you can use NetID Self Service to change your forgotten password. If you have not set up account management questions, or you forgot your answers, you will need to contact the Help Desk in the Central Library. You must bring a photo ID with you or send it by fax (817-272-2063) or e-mail (helpdesk@uta.edu).
I’ve never used my NetID before. What should I do?
If you are a new faculty member and have not yet used your NetID, you must activate your NetID. Once activated, you should be able to log in to WebCT. If you do not know your NetID, see Retrieve your NetID.
My NetID is not showing up. What should I do?
Your department may not have requested one for you yet. Ask the departmental representative responsible for requesting NetIDs to complete the NetID Account Request Form.
My WebCT ID used to be different from my NetID. Can I still use that alternate ID?
Alternate WebCT IDs are no longer in use except to access classes that were created before Summer I 2006 with an alternate WebCT ID. You should use your NetID to access all of your courses, whether they were created with your WebCT ID or NetID, whenever they were created.
