Login Help - Faculty/Staff

*Important* Please be advised that your Net ID and password are case sensitive.

Login into WebCT using your UTA NetID and corresponding NetID Password.  WebCT IDs and NetIDs will be identical, and both will share the same password. When you change your NetID password, your WebCT password will automatically change with it.

Q:  I can't remember my NetID/WebCT password.  What can I do? 

A:  There are 2 ways you can change your password:

  • If you have previously setup account management questions, you can use NetID self-service page to change your forgotten password.
  • If you have not setup account management questions or you forgot your answers, you will need to contact Help Desk to change your password.  Help Desk is required to see a photo ID, so you will need to either come in person or send us your photo ID by fax (817-272-2063) or e-mail (helpdesk@uta.edu).

Q My WebCT ID used to be different from my Net ID. Can I still use that alternate ID?

A: Due to the implementation of MyMav, all WebCT IDs and Net IDs were combined. Alternate WebCT IDs will no longer be used to access any classes created after Summer I 2006. Any classes created before Summer I 2006 with an alternate WebCT ID can still be accessed using the alternate WebCT ID.
