Requesting a WebCT course

There are two options available for requesting WebCT courses.

Create a New Course: Start from the very beginning and create your course based on a blank template. Complete the New Course Request form, or see Creating a New Course for more information.

Reuse an existing WebCT course: Many faculty use courses from previous semesters instead of creating new courses. A course does not automatically re-appear each semester—you must request a course copy for the new semester. The course copy appears in your myWebCT course listing and retains the original course’s structure, but not the student information. Complete the Course Copy Request form, or see Copying an Existing Course for more information about this option.

Student upload

You must request a Student Upload for your course each semester during the two weeks leading up to the first day of the semester. (Class rosters are not available until two weeks before the first day of the semester.) Please review the Student Upload Notes before filling out the form.
