New MavMail ACTIVATION REQUIRED BY ALL STUDENTS!
The University of Texas at Arlington is pleased to announce a NEW student e-mail (MavMail) system for students being hosted by Microsoft Windows Live™. Major improvements with this new system include larger capacity e-mail as well as on-line storage to share files, photos, and communicate with friends. The system will also be available to students following graduation.
You MUST ACTIVATE your new account in order to use the new system and to confirm that you ARE on distribution lists for all Official UTA Notifications. Until activation takes place, you will be sent to the OLD e-mail system and very possibly miss important notifications from UTA that may affect you.
UT Arlington has adopted e-mail (MavMail) as an official means to communicate with students about important deadlines, campus events and as a means to conduct transactions such as notification about financial aid awards and tuition statements. You are REQUIRED to check your MavMail frequently in order to keep informed of pertinent deadlines and information that may affect YOU. Please always check your MavMail account before calling.
