Position: Director of The Vagina Monologues (volunteer position, UTA student)
Deadline: November 28, 2012

A production of The Vagina Monologues will be staged at UTA during Spring 2013. We seek a volunteer director to oversee the production.

Duties include:

•   Collaborating with The Vagina Monologues Planning Committee
•   Recruiting actors and running auditions
•   Training actors and organizing rehearsal
•   Staging the production

The Vagina Monologues is an all-volunteer effort. The production will be a fund-raiser for non-profit community organizations devoted to combating violence against women and girls. We seek a passionate individual and member of the UTA community who cares deeply about women's and gender issues, has strong leadership skills, and is responsible and respectful. Previous directing, acting, or theater production experience is preferred but not required.
