UT Arlington alumni have opportunities to get involved with the Women’s and Gender Studies program and help future generations of strong leaders. In addition to attending our annual Women’s History Month events, alumni support is needed for other events such as Lunafest, s howing of films by, for, and about women; The Vagina Monologues, an award-winning play by Eve Ensler; and the Women’s and Gender Studies Mini-Conferece, which showcases student research projects that focus on women’s and gender issues. Students participating in the Mini-Conference can compete for one of the 4 scholarships awarded to outstanding student research.
