“A Woman for President?”

As we herald the possibility of a female president, the fascinating but little known story of the first woman to carry on an actual presidential campaign in the United States (1884 and 1888) comes alive from the lecture platform.

Directions: The Carlisle Suite is located on the second floor of the University Center (at the corner of W. First St. and S. Oak St.).  There is limited parking available near the University Bookstore at the corner of Pecan and UTA Blvd.  Parking is also available in the Maverick Parking Garage at the corner of S. West St. and Fourth St.
