The $2.5 million project to renovate the Cooper Street bridges is complete, according to the Fort Worth Report. The renovation aligns with the University’s strategic plan and its goal to redefine UTA’s community impact.
U.S. Census Adds MENA
Tiffany Kindratt, assistant professor in the Public Health Program, spoke with the Fort Worth Star-Telegram about the new U.S. Census category on race and ethnicity, Middle Eastern or North African (MENA). Kindratt says the new category can help address disparities and identify solutions for health care aimed at people who identify as MENA. Yahoo! News also shared this story.
