Economics studies the behavior of people and firms in making decisions about the allocation of scarce resources and examines the structure of the economy as a whole. Programs prepare students for a career as a quantitative analyst in government, consulting or other private sector positions.

  • The Economics department offers competitive scholarships in the Fall and Spring semesters, typically ranging from $500 - $2000.
  • Undergraduates who have formally declared Economics as their major and graduate students in the MS-Econ program are eligible to apply.
  • Economics students will be notified via email when applications open, near the beginning of each Fall and Spring semester.
