Why did you choose to attend UT Arlington?
  • I chose to attend UT Arlington for it’s accessibility and affordability. I love the campus, and all of the different places there are to study. Ultimately though, I love the rigorous and efficient Special Education program.

What is your favorite thing about the College of Education at UT Arlington?
  • I love the sense of family among my CoEd professors and peers. I also love how intensive the program is. While it is a lot of work, I feel like I’m learning so much valuable information.

Who is your favorite professor? Why?
  • It’s hard to pick just one, but I’d say Dr. Green. She is just the coolest - a master in her field and great, caring professor.
What activities do you participate in outside of class?
  • Outside of class I enjoy being a CoEd Student Ambassador, a member of Kappa Delta Pi, and a member of CoEd’s constituency council.

What are your plans after you graduate?
  • After I graduate, I hope to have my own classroom, whilst doing my best to provide my future students with the ethical, accurate, and rich special education services that they deserve.

What is the one thing you think a prospective Education student needs to know?
  • Prospective Education students should know that while the program is rigorous, there are resources within it that will really help you get to where you need to be. In other words, when in doubt, reach out to your advisor(s)!
